2 1/4 flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Combine:
3/4 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
Blend in 2 eggs
Add:
2 Tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix in dry ingredients
Add:
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup chopped dates
1/3 cup chopped marchino cherries
Shape in balls and roll in 2 1/2 cup cornflake crumbs.
Place on cookie sheet and top with 1/4 cherry
Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes
