Pickled Eggs

Bring to boil:
2 pints vinegar
1 pint water
1/2 cup salt
3 T Pickling spice (put in bag)
red food coloring

Pour over 3 dozen hard boiled eggs.
Let stand 3 days.

For 10 to 12 eggs (smaller recipe)
1 cup vinegar
1/2 cup water
2 T salt
2/1/4 teas pickling spice (in bag)
